Vuulcan Refractories manufactures high alumina, fireclay and special-shape refractory brick at our own production base in Zibo, Shandong — one of China's largest refractory manufacturing clusters. Production runs under an ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001 integrated management system, with a batch Certificate of Analysis (COA) issued for every shipment. This hub links the full brick range and the technical guides used to select the correct grade, size and shape for cement kiln, industrial furnace, and process-heat lining applications.
Dense, fired high alumina brick in five grades (HAB48-HAB85). Cement kilns, industrial furnaces, hot blast stoves, steel ladle upper zones, and glass furnace superstructure.
Economy-grade fired clay brick for backup linings, kiln cars, and lower-temperature zones where high alumina brick is not cost-justified. See the fireclay vs. high alumina comparison guide for selection criteria.
Basic refractory brick for steel ladle, cement kiln burning zone, and non-ferrous furnace applications. Supplied through Vuulcan's vetted partner network with technical selection support, TDS and COA.
Arch, wedge, and key-shaped brick to drawing for kiln shells, burner blocks, and non-standard geometries. Contact our engineering team with your shape drawing and quantity for a quote.
Matching alumina content (48-85%) to furnace zone temperature, chemical exposure, and thermal cycling.
Cost-performance analysis: when the economy grade is good enough, and when to upgrade.
When to choose fired brick lining versus monolithic castable for your furnace or kiln geometry.
Root cause analysis of high alumina brick premature failure and prevention strategies.
Standard straight, arch, wedge and key brick formats and dimensional tolerance classes per ISO / GB standards.
High alumina, fireclay and special-shape brick are produced at Vuulcan's own tunnel-kiln production facility in Zibo under an ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001 integrated quality, environmental and safety management system. Every shipment ships with a batch Certificate of Analysis (COA) showing tested values for Al2O3 content, bulk density, cold crushing strength and refractoriness under load, along with the applicable Technical Data Sheet (TDS). Third-party inspection (SGS, Bureau Veritas, Intertek) can be arranged prior to shipment on request.
Magnesia and magnesia-chrome brick are supplied through Vuulcan's vetted partner network under Vuulcan quality control — this self-production quality system applies to Vuulcan's own high alumina, fireclay and special-shape brick production, not to partner-supplied magnesia brick.
Vuulcan manufactures high alumina brick (five grades, Al2O3 48-85%), fireclay brick, and special/custom shapes at our own tunnel-kiln facility in Zibo under ISO 9001/14001/45001. Magnesia and magnesia-chrome brick are supplied through our vetted partner network rather than self-manufactured — we handle technical selection, QC oversight and COA delivery for those products.
Fireclay brick (Al2O3 30-42%) is a cost-effective choice for backup linings and lower-temperature zones below roughly 1300 degrees C with no significant alkali or slag exposure. High alumina brick is specified where service temperature, alkali attack, or slag exposure exceed fireclay's performance envelope. See our fireclay vs. high alumina comparison guide for a full decision matrix.
Yes. Arch, wedge, key and other custom shapes can be produced to drawing. Share your shape drawing, grade requirement, and quantity through the technical proposal form below and our engineering team will confirm feasibility, lead time, and pricing.
Every shipment of self-manufactured brick (high alumina, fireclay, special shapes) includes a batch Certificate of Analysis (COA) and Technical Data Sheet (TDS). Partner-supplied magnesia brick ships with COA and TDS coordinated by Vuulcan's technical team. Third-party inspection can be arranged on request for orders above the applicable minimum.
Specify brick type, grade, application, and quantity. Our technical team responds within 6 hours with pricing, lead time, and a batch COA sample for the relevant grade.
